Animating and Discovering the Frontier
It is a welcome fact that visitors come to Hadrian’s Wall expecting to learn something. Interpretation, lifelong learning, events and displays need to engage with individuals and families from many different backgrounds and interests, and to enrich their experience and understanding of the Roman frontier and its landscape. Much of Hadrian's Wall Heritage Ltd’s work, with the multiplicity of sites and museums along the Wall, concerns improving interpretation and access – giving visitors the tools to absorb as much as they wish of 2,000 years of history.
